Discover the ancient art of sand casting in this hands-on workshop, where you'll learn how to create unique metal objects using this versatile technique. Perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike, this workshop will guide you through the entire process—from designing your piece and preparing the sand mold to pouring molten metal and finishing your final casting.
Participants will explore various textures and forms achievable with sand casting, experimenting with organic materials, carved patterns, and found objects. Safety procedures, proper tool usage, and metal finishing techniques will also be covered. By the end of the workshop, you'll walk away with a one-of-a-kind metal casting and the knowledge to continue exploring this exciting process on your own.
No prior experience is necessary—all materials and safety equipment will be provided. Come ready to get your hands dirty and unleash your creativity!
Workshop Refund Policy:
- Full refund available if cancellation is made at least 2 weeks before the class.
- 50% refund for cancellations made 1 week before the class.
- No refund for cancellations made within 2 days of the class.
- No shows will not be refunded.
Workshop Changes:
In the event of workshop cancellation or rescheduling, participants will be promptly notified. Alternative arrangements will be offered. Refunds or credits will be issued upon request if the new dates are unsuitable.
